   TOOL LIST   

The Labor Agreement details the tools the journeyperson is required to have.
Apprentices are expected to have those same good quality tools. Upon reporting to work, the apprentice
shall have a toolbox sufficient to hold the following tools:

New apprentice electricians shall provide themselves a kit of tools consisting of:

• Pocket tool pouch and belt
• 6’ folding rule (inside reading)
• Steel tape measure (25’)
• 9" magnetic torpedo level
• Side cutting pliers 9" Klein or equal
• Hack saw to accommodate 12" blades
• Screwdrivers 3/16 x 6", ¼ x 4", 3/8 x 8"
• Flashlight
• Tester for 600V with case
• Utility Knife
• Wire stripper for standard wire 16-10
• Long nose pliers 7" Klein or equal
• Diagonal pliers 7" Klein or equal
• 9 ½ " channel lock tongue and groove
• Hammer 20 oz Klein 801-20 or equal
• Keyhole saw 12" blade (aluminum handle) OR sheet rock saw
• Screwdrivers Phillips 4" and 6"

After one (1) year from the date of hire as an apprentice, the apprentice
will be required to have the remainder of the tools listed below:
 
• Chalk Line
• Crescent wrench 10"
• Combination open end box wrench set 3/8, 7/16, ½, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, ¾
• Cold chisel ½"
• Center Punch 6"
• Taps 6/32, 8/32, 10/32, 10/24, ¼"/20
• Tap wrench or wrenches to fit above taps
• Combination square 12"
• Allen wrench set 1/8" – ½"
• Scratch awl 6"
• Drills in accordance with tap size plus 3/8" and ½"
• Nut driver set 7-piece
